Why I'm proud to support the Children's Trust
After two years as a DCF Social Worker, I knew I had found my calling in the field of social work. I decided to deepen my knowledge and skills by pursuing a master’s degree in social work at Boston College, where I just completed my first year. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of interning at the Children’s Trust of Massachusetts as the Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Intern.
It's been incredibly meaningful to shift from working directly with families affected by abuse and neglect to supporting prevention efforts at the systemic level. The Children’s Trust is dedicated to stopping child abuse before it starts, and I’m honored to run this year’s Falmouth Road Race on their behalf.
Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world!
