Four years ago, I embarked on my journey in the mental health field. During this period, I have observed numerous patients entering and exiting the hospital in search of help. My work has involved addressing various mental health conditions, with suicidal ideation being a significant concern. Having lost a couple of family members to this, I am optimistic that this run and donations will enable us to support those struggling with suicidal ideation. Do not lose hope. When the sun goes down, the stars come out.
Description
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. AFSP creates a culture that's smart about mental health through public education and community programs, develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide.
