This August, I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race for Team Ouimet!

The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund opened countless doors for me during my time at Babson (and Tyngsboro High School), and I’ll always be deeply grateful for the opportunities the fund has provided both my brother and I.

Working in golf played a huge role in shaping my teenage years (special shoutout to Vesper Country Club and Wellesley Country Club). Beyond financial support, the Ouimet Fund empowers students with life lessons learned through work in golf; discipline, professionalism, and the value of community.

I often think back to Frank Cartaglia at Wellesley, a true mentor who taught generations of caddies what it means to be part of something bigger: how to carry yourself, how to lead, and how to grow.

The Ouimet Fund provides millions in need-based college scholarships each year to hardworking young men and women who’ve contributed to Massachusetts golf courses, and the need is greater than ever.
