Researchers at Mass Eye and Ear co-discovered optical coherence tomography (OCT)—now the most widely used non-invasive imaging tool in retinal care. That breakthrough is just one example of the world-class research happening here, and I’m incredibly grateful to witness this innovation every day as a Research Assistant at the Harvard Ophthalmology AI Lab.
