My Story…
I am excited to run the Falmouth Road Race for Community Servings; my first time running this race! It's an honor to race for an incredible organization that provides medically tailored meals to individuals and their families experiencing critical and chronic illnesses. I had the privilege to previously work at Community Servings and hope you will support this essential charity with a meaningful donation. Thank you!
Description
COMMUNITY SERVINGS BELIEVES IN THE ASTONISHING POWER OF FOOD
Community Servings is a food and nutrition non-profit dedicated to providing medically tailored meals to individuals and their families suffering from critical and chronic illness. In their 35-year history they have provided over 14 million meals to our most vulnerable neighbors across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I am proud to partner with them and the Falmouth Road Race to raise funds and help to advance their mission and feed even more people too sick to shop or cook for themselves.
Community Servings' mission:
"Our mission is to actively engage the community to provide medically tailored, nutritious, scratch-made meals to chronically and critically ill individuals and their families. We commit, in all our programs and business practices, to prioritize racial and economic justice and health equity."
$35 dollars feeds one of their clients for a full week;
$70 feeds a client for 2 weeks; and a
$120 donation feeds someone for an entire month!
Please support my run by donating to Community Servings!
