My Story…

Welcome to my fundraising page! 

 

On August 17th, I will be running in the Falmouth Road Race as a team member of Tommy's Place, a nonprofit organization located on Cape Cod. This incredible organization provides families affected by childhood cancer with a free weeklong vacation, offering them a much-needed respite from the challenges they face.


Childhood cancer not only takes a toll on children but also profoundly impacts their families emotionally and financially. Tommy's Place allows these families to create lasting memories and enjoy quality time together, away from hospitals and treatment schedules.


By supporting this cause, we can help bring joy and relaxation to families who deserve a break during such trying times. Your contribution can make a significant difference in their lives, providing them with a chance to recharge and escape, even if just for a little while.

Tommy's Place Provides Over 100 Free Vacations Per Year on Cape Cod!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, nearly 300 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place began offering 104 magical vacations per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
