I was one of the lucky few to get a bib in the lottery for the 2025 Falmouth Road Race. When I found out I would be running in one of the country's most iconic road races, I wanted to pay it forward. As a nonprofit leader myself, I know how important it is to rally your community about a cause you believe in. So, for this race, I wanted to use this run to raise some money for a really special organization called the Natick Community Organic Farm. 

The Natick Community Organic Farm is a nonprofit, certified-organic farm, now in its 51st year. They offer hands-on education, farm products, and productive open space for all ages, year-round. From their CSAs to summer programs, Forest Gnomes to adult volunteers, they continue to welcome everyone and encourage them to get their hands dirty. 

In 2024, 5,400 children, youth, and families took part in their  educational programs. This was over 25,000 hours of programming Over 1,400 Natick Public School students joined them for free field trips and volunteer opportunities, and 18 hardworking teens joined their teen work crew over the summer. They updated fencing, salvaged old sheds, and built a bridge for the livestock. In 2025, 18 young people received scholarships to participate in educational programs from January through June. The more that is raised for the farm, the more kids they can support.
