My Story…
My name is Sean and I'm a Cape Cod native living in the Boston. This is going to be my first time ever running a road race and I couldn't be more excited to be running in support of the Shawn Thornton foundation. Not only am I one of the biggest Bruins fans you'll ever meet, but I've also lost family to both Parkinson's and Cancer over the years so this is a cause that's especially close to my heart.
I certainly won't be breaking any records, but I look forward to participating in this incredible event and am excited to work on raising some funds to contribute in some small way towards finding a cure to these diseases.
Description
The Shawn Thornton Foundation is dedicated to helping find cures for diseases close to Shawn's heart, specifically, Parkinson's and cancer. The Foundation will work towards this mission by raising awareness, funding innovative research and helping to relieve the burden and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
