My name is Kirsi Aaltonen. It is an honor and a privilege to be running the Falmouth Road Race again this year, in support of Recovery Without Walls, an incredible nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women heal and rebuild their lives interrupted by substance misuse and related trauma. This organization offers free, life-changing holistic services—such as acupuncture, yoga, mindfulness, trauma therapy--and ongoing support to women on Cape Cod to help prevent relapse and promote long term recovery.

As a woman in recovery for over 11 years, I cannot emphasize enough the transformative impact of this work. The women supported by this organization are not just surviving—they are finding purpose, healing from deep wounds, and building fulfilling lives. Your support plays a direct role in that journey. Every donation, no matter the size, helps bring hope, healing, and opportunity to women who need it most.
