My Story…
Help me fundraise for the Falmouth Rotary Club's Nepal Project! From the Rotary Club's webpage:
This category includes programs to educate, house and provide opportunities to girls at high risk of human trafficking and child marriage in Nepal, India and Kenya. Recent projects have included remote teaching, sustainable agriculture projects, providing a library and computer room, solar energy projects, community outreach through dance and drama, and skills training for girls in rural Nepal (Himalayas).
Currently we are raising funds to provide anti-trafficking outreach training to teachers in the rural mountain villages, expand the solar power to the elementary school building, and fund a bookkeeping training program for the older girls who will be seeking work.
