My Story…
This August, I'll be running the 7 mile Falmouth Road Race in support of the Shawn Thornton Foundation - an amazing organization dedicated to raising awareness, funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for those affected by Parkinson’s disease and cancer.
I am running in support of my grandmother Barbara (Bebe), who is currently battling lung cancer; in memory of my grandfather, Poppy Bobby, who persevered through Parkinson's for over 30 years; in honor of my mom Lynn, a breast cancer survivor; in memory of my wife's mother Mary, who fought stomach cancer; and on behalf of all other patients and families affected by these diseases.

Description
The Shawn Thornton Foundation is dedicated to helping find cures for diseases close to Shawn's heart, specifically, Parkinson's and cancer. The Foundation will work towards this mission by raising awareness, funding innovative research and helping to relieve the burden and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
