I run for my mom.
For as long as I can remember, MS has been a part of my family. My mom has it and even when I was too young to know many things, I knew my mom had something called MS and it made her really tired and sometimes her left side wouldn't do what she wanted it to do. I remember thinking she was like a superhero when she was able to touch hot things without feeling it, something I now know is not good.
My mom's MS is well controlled due to the MS treatments available. I hope that by raising awareness about MS, I'll be able to help someone reach the spot my mom is at, too.
