Help Collette raise money

I am thrilled to be running my first Falmouth Road Race.  I am raising money to support 4 great causes through the Rotary Club of Falmouth.  See below for more information about the 4 causes.

Local Philanthropy - this includes grants for local non-profit organizations; past support has gone to services for the handicapped, foster families, sick children, the local schools, veterans, the homeless, food insecurity, public safety and the local environment.

International Service - this includes programs to educate, house and provide opportunities to girls at high risk of human trafficking and child marriage in Nepal, India and Kenya. Recent projects have included remote teaching, sustainable agriculture projects, solar energy projects, community outreach, and skills training for girls in rural Nepal. 

Youth and Education Programs- the youth programs category includes on-going student scholarships and student recognition awards, youth leadership programs, outdoor education, support for local sports teams, and children’s enrichment activities. A Rotary student exchange program is being planned.

Environmental Projects- these projects include Falmouth public land cleanups at beaches and conservation areas, environmental education including an annual monarch butterfly release program at Spohr Gardens, and conditioning and enhancing nature trails and contributions to conservation initiatives.
