Help me and the Ellie Foundation Fight Breast Cancer!
I am running in this year’s Falmouth Road Race, August 18th, in support of the Ellie Fund. The Ellie Fund raises money to provide essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing.
The Ellie Fund was founded in memory of Eleanor “Ellie” Popkin, who passed away in 1987 at the age of 49 after a courageous 15+ year battle with breast cancer. The Ellie Fund is a continuation of the charitable spirit Ellie embodied during her life and provides a way to give back to other families who are going through the same challenges that Ellie and her family did.
