It's that time of year again! The Falmouth Road Race is on August 17th and for the second year in a row, I am fundraising for the Cape Cod Commercial Fisherman's Alliance! Their dedication to maintaining sustainable fisheries is a positive impact on the health of the environment, the future of fishing, and our economy. I'm sure most of you know how passionate I am about the ocean and fishing, specifically in Cape Cod. Being a part of this team really hits home.
This will be my 4th time running in the Falmouth Road Race. The happiness I experience while running this particular race is quite overwhelming. For those of you who don’t know, my dad ran this race for 39 years before passing from a heart attack in 2021. He was only 58 and still had many Falmouth Road Races in his future. We even planned to run together that summer, which was the first one I ever agreed to do. I’m still kicking myself for not doing it sooner but I know he'll be right there with me from start to finish.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal to run this year! Any little bit counts! I want to express my gratitude to those who have donated in previous years, I truly appreciate your continued support. Thank you in advance to new donators as well, your contribution means so much!

The Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen's Alliance is proud to be participating for the eighth consecutive year in the iconic Falmouth Road Race as part of the Numbers for Nonprofits Program. Our fantastic team is running to raise funds to help us continue our work advocating for our historic small boat fishing industry and sustainable fishing on Cape Cod.
Founded in 1991 by the local fishing fleet, Fishermen's Alliance engages the local fishing community in building lasting solutions to protect the ocean ecosystem and the future of Cape Cod's small-boat fishing fleet.
