Hi everyone!

This August, I will be running my 1st Falmouth Road Race! I have been frequently visiting the Cape for nearly 3 years now and I have a special place in my heart for this exceptionally beautiful and historic part of the country. I’m dedicating every mile to supporting the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, and I’d love your help in making this journey count.

Why I’m Running

From country miles with my dad starting at 5 years old, to MVP in high school to a division 1 Track and Cross Country Scholarship, to road races when I can squeeze them in…. If you know me, you know running has always been a big part of my life. It’s my mental outlet, my challenge, and my way of staying connected to myself. The Falmouth Road Race stands out as more than a road race, it’s a cause, many causes, all worthy of support. 

I am excited to combine my passion for running with a purpose by raising funds for the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, an amazing organization that:

🎶 Funds music lessons for young children

🖌️ Provides grants for community art projects

Why Cape Cod? 

Like many people from the Midwest, I had probably never heard of Cape Cod, much less been to it. So why care? This unique piece of land is a major part of US history, from the first pilgrim landing in Provincetown, to whaling, the fishing (Cod of course) and the unique aquatic environment created by the Cape, and many bays - this place is a gem. Supporting its beauty for residents and visitors for years to come is important. I hope you can plan a visit sometime to enjoy it for yourself.
