My Story…
I was diagnosed with lupus in 2020 after many years of symptoms. I am honored to run for the Lupus Foundation of New England and raise funds to support research. Lupus makes life more challenging. However, I don't let it stop me from doing what I love; it may just take a bit longer - like running the Falmouth Road Race. I may run at a turtle's pace - but I am doing it!
This will be my 8th running of the Falmouth Road Race. I grew up watching my father run the Falmouth Road Race. Now he is 70 and still running! In 2015, I ran for the first time. It is an honor to run with my father every year. He may finish before me, but we do it together.
