If you've maybe seen or heard of CWC but not sure what they're about: This non- profit is right in the heart of the Cape (Yarmouth), and the services it provides are invaluable: alternative treatment for those with cancer (think: yoga, acupuncture, massage therapy). All of the things your insurance won't cover!
Founded by an incredible woman 🎶 on the Cape, I'm proud to continue pounding pavement for an awesome organization like this & all the things it stands for.

Description
Cape Wellness Collaborative's (CWC) mission is to help residents of Cape Cod and the Islands who are facing cancer feel better through integrative therapies, nourishing meals, and emotional support services.
Integrative therapies like massage, acupuncture, yoga, and more can significantly ease the physical and emotional side effects of cancer treatment and recovery. Yet most of these therapies are not covered by insurance, making them inaccessible to many when they’re needed most.
CWC bridges that gap. We connect individuals facing cancer with trusted, local practitioners who provide integrative care—and we cover the cost. Our model keeps care close to home, compassionate, and accessible.
Today, we serve approximately 1,100 people each year. Through our Wellness Eats program, we’ve also provided more than 18,000 handcrafted, nourishing meals to clients and caregivers across our community. We also host monthly support group meetings at our HQ in South Yarmouth.
Our goal is simple and deeply meaningful: to help people feel better—physically, emotionally, and holistically—while navigating cancer.
