Louisville Bats 5k Run/Walk

Kids need to report to start/finish area by 9:00 a.m. Please assemble on the sidewalk by the start/finish line. As soon as the last 5k runner finishes (between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. we’ll line the kids up at the start. They will head east on E. Witherspoon and turn right to enter the stadium. They will loop the baseball field, exit where they came in, turn left and head to the finish line and their finisher medal!

Parents, you are welcome to and invited to run with your child. The distance is approximately .2 of a mile.

Please note, all participants must be entered and wearing their bib to be allowed to start.

Bibs can be picked up at pre-race packet pickup Friday, June 13th at Ken Combs Running Store from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. or race morning starting at 7:00 a.m.

Join the Louisville Bats for the 3rd Annual Louisville Bats 5k. Start and finish outside the back gate of Louisville Slugger Field on Witherspoon and run the last 1/4 mile of the race around the baseball field and all entrants receive a dateless voucher for any Bats home game.

Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Miler is a four-mile run/walk through beautiful Waterfront Park in the morning and a baseball game that evening. What a perfect way to spend a summer Saturday. All registrants receive their choice of a cotton blend, tech or women's tech tank (only pre-registered will be guaranteed a shirt on race day) or get two for an additional $10.

Save time race morning and pickup your packet on Friday, June 13th at Ken Combs Running Store, 4137 Shelbyville Rd. from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Starting at 7:00 a.m. at the back gate plaza (corner of N. Preston and E. Witherspoon) of Louisville Slugger Field.

On race day, parking will be available at Louisville Slugger Field, 501 E. Main St.
