Foothills Hospice is a place for living and Nigel understood this. He embraced everything Foothills Hospice has to give: quality time with family because we could be family again, not caregivers; precious time with friends and clergy in a home like setting; and, compassionate emotional and comfort care in a place where love lives. It is a place where peace was found and special memories remain of Nigel…..lovingly holding great grandson Danny in his arms just hours before passing; encouraging our priest to ring the singing bowl; his children and grandchildren taking him on many tours of the spectacular hospice garden; and two surprise visits from his favourite horse—a black and white pinto.
