Our story…
Until recently we had only the vaguest understanding of what hospice care is. In 2023 everything changed. My best friend Lizz’s daughter Haley, a beautiful light in the world, went into hospice care. It was heartbreaking to know the end of her journey was nearing and difficult to be a province away, unable to provide any support. The incredible, empathetic staff allowed for the worst period in my best friend’s life, to be slightly less stressful. Haley’s family and loved ones were able to surround Haley in her final days and know that she was truly being cared for.
We are fundrasing for hospice care to help however we can. Absolutely no pressure but any donations and support are greatly appreciated.
