About Surrey Food Bank
Founded in 1983, Surrey Food Bank is one of British Columbia’s largest food banks, serving low-income individuals and families in Surrey and North Delta. We provide supplemental food assistance with dignity, consistency, and care—through a central warehouse, distribution depots, and tailored programs for seniors, infants, and homebound clients.
We are entirely community-funded, powered by generous donors, corporate sponsors, and over 400 active volunteers.
We nourish a thriving community—with good food and great people.
Every step you take in the BMO Marathon helps nourish a neighbour in need. Surrey Food Bank serves over 20,000 thousand individuals throughout Surrey adn North Delta every month - which includes, children,seniors, expectant moms! we are here to provide access to fresh, nutritious food with dignity.
This year, we’re running not just for fitness, but for food security. Your donation helps fill real plates with real food.
Here's how far your gift can go:
- $10 – Fill a hamper with apples, carrots, tomatoes & peppers
- $25 – Stock a pantry with rice, cereal, pasta & canned goods
- $50 – Help a senior receive a week’s worth of food, delivered to their door
- $100 – Provide a full hamper for a family of four
- $250 – Support a month of groceries for a family in crisis
- $500 – Fuel food access for multiple families across our community
