My Story…
Hi everyone, I’m Frida.
I’m running the BMO Vancouver Marathon and fundraising for Ovarian Cancer Canada.
Each year, around 3,000 women in Canada are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Sadly, it is one of the most serious cancers affecting women, often detected at a late stage, and less than half of those diagnosed will survive beyond five years. You can learn more about these statistics here: https://cancer.ca/en/cancer-information/cancer-types/ovarian/statistics
I wanted to contribute in a meaningful way to help change these outcomes through research and support. This is why I am supporting the Ovarian Cancer Experience & Research programs, which lead national efforts to improve treatment and survival.
My goal is $250, and any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for your support!
