My Story…
I’ll be running for a lot of reasons. First of all, I’m blessed to be able to run. And while I said I would never run a marathon, it’s time to flip the script and challenge myself like never before. Life is precious, and sometimes short. I’m running for those that have passed and the people around me that work through challenges every day which may prevent them from running. Mostly, I am running to elevate awareness around cancer. ♋️ Cancer has taken away many friends and family members and, given my wife’s (Dorotka) struggles with cancer, hits close to home. My goal is to finish. No time predications or goals, just finish the race. Join me in helping to raise cancer awareness- raising funds for Lymphoma Canada - 🇨🇦 thank you for your support! ✅🙏🏻🏃🏻♂️

Who are Lymphoma Canada? - Dealing with lymphoma can be overwhelming, whether you’re a patient yourself or you know someone who is. But you don’t have to face it alone. We connect patients, their family and friends, medical professionals, researchers, volunteers, and donors to build a strong lymphoma community. A community that conducts research to learn lymphoma’s causes, to develop better treatments, and to find a cure. Run Your Story
On April 26, I am participating in the Beneva Mississauga Marathon to help build the largest hospital in Canada at Trillium Health Partners, the future home of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital.
Trillium Health Partners currently manages more than 1.8 million patient visits every year in facilities built more than 65 years ago. With the demand for care expected to grow by 50 per cent by 2041, our community needs more space, modern innovation and a hospital built for the future.
The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital will triple capacity and create room for life-saving care when it matters most. It will house Canada’s largest emergencydepartment and more than 950 private rooms to ensure every patient is at thecentre of care and is taken care of, when they need it the most, right here inMississauga.
Please support my run and help build the hospital our families, friends and neighbours will one day need. Every step I take is for them.
