My Story…

I’m a Navy veteran and proud member of the Fox Squad, a backcountry trail crew on the Arizona Trail. This trail isn’t just dirt and miles for me, it’s been a source of healing, reflection, and connection. Out here in the landscapes I grew up with, I’ve found community, challenge, and purpose.

That’s why I’m stepping up to lead part of Operation Freedom March, a year-long effort to cover all 800 miles of the Arizona Trail in honor of veterans and America’s 250th birthday.

Your support fuels more than just miles: it helps preserve our public lands, sustains the Arizona Trail Association’s VETS Program, and gives veterans healthy ways to process their experiences while building community.

Stand with me. Donate today. Help preserve the trail and honor those who’ve served.

Description

AZT in a Day is an October tradition that engages the public to hike, bike, ride, or run the entire length of the Arizona Trail (AZT) from Mexico to Utah in one day. This 800-mile team challenge raises awareness and funds to fulfill the Arizona Trail Association's mission: to protect, maintain, enhance, promote and sustain the Arizona Trail as a unique encounter with the natural environment. Check out the ATA's programs on their website: www.aztrail.org

Support me as I support the trail! My goal is to raise $800--one dollar for each mile of the Arizona Trail. All donations are 100% tax-deductible and go directly to supporting the Arizona Trail Association.
