My Story…
I was diagnosed with Stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancer—an aggressive and rare head and neck cancer that had spread to my left femur. I had to step away from everything familiar and focus fully on fighting for my life. Those months stretched me mentally, physically, and emotionally. But through 6 rounds of chemo and 38 radiation treatments, my amazing partner and my support system at home reminded me every day that I wasn’t fighting alone. Their love and encouragement carried me through my darkest moments. Today, I’m proud and grateful to say I’m in remission. I’m healing, I’m stronger, and I’m doing things I’ve never done before! This second chance at life means everything to me, this is me stepping out of my comfort zone and participating in a run for the first time! I’m still in recovery and might not be able to run with the others but I’m so excited to try!
This is more than a comeback, it’s my testimony 🫶🏽✨
