My Story…
This run is very meaningful to me. I experienced many traumatic domestic violence experiences and had to go to court several times. Despite the deficits in our justice system, how I was treated as a victim by the courage centre is second to none. Victim services recognized that I needed more support in order to testify clearly. I was blessed to work with. Mireille, who is now retired, and then J. Cristal made that so easy for me. I didn’t understand until I was on the stand how much I would need both of them. This is an incredible cause. I encourage you to give.

How sad that we need to fundraise to support women who experience domestic violence. Until women not victims, I will continue to hope/pray!!
