My Story…
This year I’m running the Pittsburgh Marathon in support of the Alzheimer’s Association, and this race means a lot to me. Alzheimer’s has affected multiple people in my family, and my grandpa is currently living with it. Watching someone you love slowly change in ways you can’t control is incredibly hard, and it’s made this cause very personal for me.
Running has become one of the ways I show up for the people I care about. This will be my third marathon and my second time running in Pittsburgh after doing the half last year. There’s something really special about running through this city, especially when I’m doing it for a reason that hits close to home.
By donating, you’re supporting families who are navigating Alzheimer’s every day and helping fund research, resources, and support that truly make a difference. It means more to me than I can explain.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me, my grandpa, and everyone impacted by this disease. Every bit of support reminds me why these miles matter.
