My Story…
As a former teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful education can be in shaping a child’s future. Every student deserves the chance to learn, grow, and reach their full potential and yet too many children face barriers beyond their control.
I’m raising funds for the Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF). Their mission is to help students experiencing homelessness break the cycle through educational achievement. HCEF provides essential programming for children and young adults.
When we invest in children’s education, we’re investing in stronger futures and more equitable communities. It’s more important now than ever to ensure every child has access to the opportunities they deserve.
On a personal note, I’m also challenging myself to beat my time from my first half marathon, and I’d love your encouragement and support along the way! Like last year, recommend a song for my race day playlist or a challenge for me to complete during training!

Description
Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
