My Story…
If you knew Geraldine Cowden, then you knew her kindness, her generosity, and her willingness to lend a helping hand. The first thing you would notice about Gerry is that warm smile and a gentle "hello." Alzheimer's changes people, but thankfully it didn't change that part of her. What it did do is steal her memory to the point Mom became reclusive. That was tough because she was very outgoing, social and friendly.
I run for everyone that cannot. I run for my mom Gerry, So please make a donation today. It would mean so much, to myself and to all those affected by the disease. On behalf of nearly 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s and over 11 million caregivers — thank you!
