My Story…
Running 26.2 miles is a challenge, even for an almost average triathlete, but it is nothing compared to the lifelong impact of the place where my own story began. This year I am running the Pittsburgh Marathon for the Magee-Women's Research Institute & Foundation, the very hospital where I was born 50 years ago.
For more than a century, Magee-Women's Hospital has been a cornerstone da Burgh, bringing hundreds of thousands lives into the world. My 50th birthday is a milestone that has me looking back at where I started a looking forward to how I can give back to the institution that provides world-class care for woman and infants very day.
