Help Tara raise money

I was pushed to sign up for this marathon, after stewing over it to everyone who would listen for months, by someone who passed shortly after. Someone who, at the end of life, urged me to live and tackle uncertainty. I'm running it for them and for me.

I'm sure everyone can stand with me when I say I hate cancer. I hate what it does, what it takes, how it persists. By supporting Rush to Crush Cancer, I am supporting the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in their fight. With their much more abundant resources compared to my anger and determination, they are working every day on the care of cancer patients and the research that inches us closer every day to winning battles right here in Pittsburgh that contribute to the ultimate win in the war against cancer.

I ask you to please consider donating to this cause, through me or just in general with your time and voice. While donating through me can help me cover the registration fees for this race, I simply want to do all I can to bring attention to this wonderful organization and help the city that has helped me grow in so many ways.
