<sub>This April marks, 5 years cancer free!!
I still have 5 years of maintenance treatment ahead, but to celebrate the half way mark I am teaming up with Magee Women’s for the Pittsburgh Half Marathon Run for a Reason Charity team.

In a few weeks, I’ll be running the Pittsburgh Half marathon and each mile thanking and thinking of the incredible team of oncologists, surgeons, nurses, family, and friends for helping me navigate this journey.

During my treatments and recovery I found that running played a CRUCIAL role in supporting my health and wellness. I’m excited to run around our beautiful city with a grateful heart.

I’m proud to be a Magee-Womens nurse for 10+ years, I know firsthand the impact this institution has on patients' lives. For me, running for Magee-Womens was a natural choice – a heartfelt way to support women's cancer research and give back to the place that means so much to me.
