Why I support The Pittsburgh Project
Please consider helping me give back to an incredible organization in Pittsburgh—The Pittsburgh Project. This organization holds a special place in my heart, as I had the opportunity to attend a summer mission trip with them in 2015. During that experience, we served the local community by repairing homes and bringing encouragement and hope to those who needed it most.
The Pittsburgh Project’s impact goes far beyond mission trips. Year-round, they invest in Pittsburgh’s youth through after-school and summer programs that empower young people, develop future leaders, and work toward lasting community transformation.
On May 3rd, I will be running the Pittsburgh Half Marathon, and my training starts today. I would be so grateful if you would consider supporting my run by donating to this amazing organization.
Description
The Pittsburgh Project is a faith-based organization with the mission to share hope, empower youth and build community. We pursue this by offering educationally enriching after school and summer day camp programming for students in grades K-12. Join us in walking/running for the youth and families of the North Side! Every dollar fuels a step towards a better future for our city!
