My Story…
When I signed up for the marathon, the website prompted me to "run for a reason" and create a fundraising page for a local charity; I couldn't think of a good reason to click "No Thanks", so now this page exists.
412 Food Rescue is a primarily volunteer-based organization that takes waste food that's still good to eat - from "grocery stores, wholesalers, caterers, and everything in between" - and gets it to people in need. Here's their website: https://412foodrescue.org/about/
