My Story…
Hi! My name is Jolie, and I am running my first-ever half-marathon in May. This year, I want to run in support of the Homeless Children's Education Fund.
I have grown up my whole life privileged enough to obtain an amazing education, so much so that I will soon be graduating this summer as a Physician Assistant. Throughout my schooling and medical training, I have learned the importance of discipline, compassion, and empathy. Learning and training has and will continue to be a difficult mountain to climb; however, it is a privilege to even have the opportunity to reach my goals.
At HCEF, they believe that every child has intrinsic value, deserving of respect and kindness. These children deserve to grow and learn in a safe and healthy environment and community, just like I did! Please help me in advancing the education of children experiencing homelessness in Pennsylvania, hoping that they one day grow into empowered and successful individuals.

Donate to help raise money for Homeless Children's Education Fund (HCEF) during Marathon Weekend. Your donation helps students break the cycle of homelessness through educational achievement. HCEF provides programming for students in kindergarten to age 24. Programming includes afterschool, tutoring support, social and emotional regulation, college and career prep, as well as enrichment, emergency funding and educational grants.
