My Story…
I have been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center for the past 7 years, and the Rush to Crush fundraising initiative is very dear to me. The Hillman Cancer Center saves lives, offers impeccable care to cancer patients, and fosters impactful research on the mechanisms of tumorigenesis and response to therapies, on improving diagnosis, and finding novel pharmacological approaches and immunotherapies to cure cancer. I am excited to support this cause, which means a lot to me also because I lost my beloved Dad to pancreatic cancer 4 years ago.
