My Story…
Hi everyone!
I’m running my very first marathon (that’s 26.2 miles* 😲), and I want to do it for a really important reason.
I want every kid to feel like they belong and have friends.
I’m trying to raise $500 to help kids in Pittsburgh who are new to our country, and I would LOVE to beat my goal!
I’m raising money for the Alliance for Refugee Youth Support and Education (ARYSE), a group that helps immigrant and refugee kids feel welcomed, confident and celebrated. They have after-school clubs, summer programs, art groups just for girls, and they help older kids get ready for what comes after high school. Kids there even get to be leaders and help make decisions about the programs!
If you can, please donate any amount to help me reach (or beat!) my goal. Every dollar helps, and it would mean a lot to me 😊
Thank you for cheering me on!

*Mom's note: Ebs and his friends will run 25.2 over a few weeks while training at school. They will run the last mile during the marathon.
Description
This year, our goal is to raise at least $30,000 through the marathon campaign, which will cover the essential expenses for our program like student transportation, interpretation and translation services, hot meals, and personnel. Thanks to donations from hundreds of individuals and local foundations, the program is completely free of cost to participants. Support from our marathon runners and their networks will help us keep it that way.
