Why I support The Pittsburgh Project
I am fundraising again for The Pittsburgh Project to help support their community work in the Northside of Pittsburgh. This organization is truly committed to building community relationships and mentoring youth to effect positive change! I worked at TPP for 5 years as a youth educator, and have seen first-hand children grow and mature in wonderful ways. TPP truly cares about kids holistically, inspiring them with electives like the makerspace, robotics, music engineering, and more.
This year, several of us got together for a friendly competition to have 2 relay teams go head to head to see which team gets the faster time AND which team raises more money!! I'm training to do my part for The TPP Thunderbolts & I need you to help by making a donation for our team to win!
Description
The Pittsburgh Project is a faith-based organization with the mission to share hope, empower youth and build community. We pursue this by offering educationally enriching after school and summer day camp programming for students in grades K-12. Join us in walking/running for the youth and families of the North Side! Every dollar fuels a step towards a better future for our city!
