My Story…
At ARYSE, we work alongside immigrant and refugee youth as they build confidence, strengthen their skills, and shape their own futures.
This year, I’m hoping to raise $700 to help our organisation continue to have the resources to continue our lasting and transformative work. One example that comes to mind is our plan to offer this year a closed gymnasium for our summer enrichment program, PRYSE. Yes, it’s a new cost for our programming, but one that will give our youth access to top of the line facilities, and safeguards our youth from the summer heat and rain, and beyond.
Description
This year, our goal is to raise at least $30,000 through the marathon campaign, which will cover the essential expenses for our program like student transportation, interpretation and translation services, hot meals, and personnel. Thanks to donations from hundreds of individuals and local foundations, the program is completely free of cost to participants. Support from our marathon runners and their networks will help us keep it that way.
