My Story…
I’m excited to announce that on May 3rd I will be running the Pittsburgh Half Marathon and contributing to the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). I was inspired to run for ALS as this devastating disease process has taken so much from so many families, including someone close to mine. Watching a family friend lose her battle with ALS showed me just how taxing and progressive this disease can be for both the person living with it along with the people who love them. I feel fortunate to have my health and the ability to run this race, and I want to use that opportunity to give back.
I’m hoping to raise funds to support people battling ALS while also helping advance research towards a cure. Any support means a lot, thank you so much for supporting me and being part of this effort!
Description

The funds raised by our team provide help and hope to those living with ALS by supporting local patient care, advocacy, and global research to find treatments and a cure for this always fatal disease.
