The RescueMe 5K is more than just a race - it's a celebration! The event helps us raise awareness and support for the American Pit Bull Foundation's four community programs: Humane Education, Outreach, Advocacy, and Shelter to Service.
After a competitive run or walk with your best furry friend, you can visit our vendors, take part in our raffle and silent auction, play games, grab a refreshment, and enjoy the celebration.
As part of APBF's advocacy mission, this year we are focusing on raising funds for our Behavior and Training Fund to provide pre- and post-adoption training and behavior support. Behavior is one of the top reasons people surrender their dogs to shelters and rescues, yet it is one of the least accessible community resources. We aim to fix that! By participating and donating to the Behavior and Training Fund, YOU are helping to keep families together
