My Story…
I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 35 years ago and treated at UH - Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Growing up sports were always important for me. And for the past 25 years I have been active in running to help maintain my blood sugars and fitness. Working in medicine at the University of Michigan, I am fortunate to have a lot of close friends and colleagues in Ann Arbor who run together and push each other everyday to be better runners. While, I've run a few half marathons I'm excited for tackling my first full!
