My Story…
Some battles in life you don’t choose—but you can choose how you fight them. My mom and I both live with scleroderma and Raynaud’s, conditions that make even the simple things harder than they should be. It’s been a journey of pain, perseverance, and faith, but also one of courage and hope. This spring, we’re lacing up our shoes not just for ourselves, but for everyone touched by this disease. My mom and I will be running the Cleveland Marathon 5K side by side, and I’ll go the extra miles to take on the half marathon as part of the Challenger Series. Every step we take will be in honor of those who can’t, and every mile is a chance to raise awareness and funds for the Scleroderma Foundation. We can’t change our diagnosis, but we can change the story by showing up, moving forward, and giving hope. Together, with your support, we’re turning struggle into strength and making every stride count.
