Running a marathon is tough, but our family has faced an even bigger challenge. My brother-in-law lives with Costello syndrome, a rare genetic condition with serious medical complications. Through it all, he’s shown incredible strength and resilience. UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital has been amazing. Their care, compassion, and expertise have supported not just him, but all of us during some very hard times. That’s why we’re running this marathon, to give back and pay it forward, so other families can receive the same care, hope, and support we’ve been lucky to have.
