My Story…

I am a PhD student studying fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) and spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD), a closely related sister disease of FMD. My research focuses on understanding these diseases and improving knowledge that may one day help patients. One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been running alongside patients who donated blood for my research. Sharing that moment with them reminded me why this work matters and continues to motivate me every day in my PhD.
