8:30 a.m. – 1K Little Steps
8:50 a.m. – Welcome and Warm-up
9:15 a.m. – 10K start
9:30 a.m. – 5K start
Suggested Arrival Time: 8:00 a.m.
To have the most enjoyable race day experience, please give yourself plenty of time before your race. Factor in timing for: getting to the event site, parking, toilet use (which may include wait time), getting into your start corral, deep breathing and getting into your groove!

Free onsite parking at Ontario Shores.
Route Maps

The 5K starts on the paved Waterfront Trail behind the centre and follow the scenic shoreline of Lake Ontario. The trail leads north beside Gordon Street before turning right towards the Whitby Marina. Turn left on Watson Street, left on Victoria (sidewalks), left on Gordon, towards the finish line. The course is flat, traffic-free, and offers stunning lake and marina views throughout. The water stations is at the 2.5K mark.

The 10K starts on the paved Waterfront Trail behind the centre and follow the scenic shoreline of Lake Ontario. The trail leads north beside Gordon Street before turning right towards the Whitby Marina. Turn right onto the Charles Street sidewalk until meeting up with the Waterfront Trail along Brock Street South/Water Street. The turnaround point (and water station) are past Kiwanis Heydenshore Park. On the return portion of the route, once past the Marina, the route continues up Watson Street, left on Victoria (sidewalks), left on Gordon, towards the finish line.
The course is flat, traffic-free, and offers stunning lake views throughout. Two water stations are available on course, located at the 2.5K and 5K marks.
Offline Donations
Please bring all cash/cheque donations to the Ontario Shores tent at the race, along with a pledge form and provide it to an Ontario Shores on-site representative.
