My Story…
The Run for Women is a truly impactful event for me. Back in 2014, a close friend of mine who worked at Ontario Shores as an RN ended her life... this was truly devastating. Recently in 2025, my dear mother was admitted for Psychiatric reevaluation in the Dementia Unit. My dear mother, recently passed away in April 2026 and it is hard for me to think that she got the mental health support she needed way to late in life, just like my dear friend. Mental health care is often overlooked and truly under funded in our society. We need more resources, more supports and more time to improve services and our communities. Your support and donation would truly make a difference in others lives and mine ❤️
