My Story…

Bide Awhile is really about giving animals a safe place and a second chance, while also supporting people in our community. I care about this work because I’ve seen how much joy and healing animals bring when they’re given that chance. What keeps me going is watching those transformations — scared animals leaving here loved and confident, and families feeling complete. If you want to help, it can be as simple as volunteering, spreading the word, connecting us with partners, or giving support so we can keep doing more.

Description

Bide Awhile Animal Shelter is a not-for-profit, no-kill animal shelter that has been rescuing, caring for and rehoming animals since 1969. The shelter has grown in recent years to rehome 500 animals a year and helps to support thousands more through community programs.
