This 5K is for the tiny paws that can’t run beside me — my sweet floofs, Blade and Lucy 🐱🐱, who fill my days with comfort, mischief, and unconditional love. Since they can’t lace up their own sneakers, I’m running in their honor, carrying them with me every step of the way. I’m proud to support Bide Awhile Animal Shelter, serving the Halifax area that provides safety, medical care, and compassion to animals in need. Blade and Lucy are a daily reminder of how life-changing a safe home and a little patience can be. This race is for every animal still waiting for their second chance, a warm bed, and their fur-ever home.
